The ideal candidate is a BC certified educator who demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education. This teacher has an ability to deliver curriculum content in an innovative manner that fully engages students in learning and acts as a personal model to deepen students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview and relationship with God.  

The Grade 7 homeroom teacher enrolls approximately 25 students in their homeroom class and is responsible for all aspects of learning (i.e. lesson planning, teaching, assessment etc.). The homeroom teacher will teach a variety of subjects, most typically Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Socials, and Bible. The homeroom teacher will also teach other students at the same grade level. Homeroom teachers work in close collaboration with the other homeroom teachers working at that grade level and have 240 minutes of preparation time per week.   

The posted salary is based on the 2024-25 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2025-26 school year.
